Rts,1) i can't get a cement mixer on a bike,2)we live 5 miles from one school and 8 miles from the other so thats not a runner and 3) i spend 95% of my life outside putting in a bracing days work so consider myself quite healthy thank you please!!!!! the simple fact is we need our vehicles and to be persecuted for wanting to earn money and do a days work is preposterous!!!!

Well, I am different then, I have always chosen to live close enough to my work to not have to drive there. It has a premium as the houses are much more expensive but the benefits outweigh that in my opinion. I learned not to rely on a car when I lost my license for 2 years, relaised what my legs were for.

most of my work is within a 60 mile radius so bicycle/shanks' pony is a bit of a moot point for me but hey the way things are going maybe i should invest in a Horse and Gypsy Caravan and live on site Wink
