Dingles V ROVERS
Rovers Beyond Dingledome!!!
Dingletown is a place on the edge of normality that has managed to retain some technology if no civilization. Rovers have their bragging rights questioned and must seek retribution there in a post-apocalyptic world where all machines have begun to break down and savages have destroyed what is left. Rovers become involved in a power struggle in this 100th encounter where they must first survive Dingletown, survive the deformities and then rescue the bragging rights they have held on to for so long.

The Dingles could hand a debut to loan signing Michael Kightly against east Lancashire rivals Blackburn.
Winger Kightly was a deadline day arrival from Stoke and could start as the Clarets look for a first win over Rovers in 34 years.
Striker Jordan Rhodes has been fitted with a cast on his broken hand and will be available for Blackburn.
David Dunn is out for the next couple of weeks with a knee injury, but Lee Williamson (back) is fit.
MATCH FACTS
Head-to-head
• This is the 100th competitive meeting; Blackburn have won 41 of the previous 99, and Burnley 38.
• Both clubs being founder members of the Football League, this fixture was first staged in November 1888, when visiting Blackburn pulled off a 7-1 victory.
• Last season's two Championship meetings were 1-1 draws, meaning Burnley are looking for a first victory over their Lancashire rivals in nine attempts (D2, L6), and have not beaten them at Turf Moor since Boxing Day 1978.
Dingles
• Burnley are chasing a sixth win from their eighth league and cup match of the season.
• The Clarets are defending an unbeaten home league record (W1, D1) and are aiming to stretch their undefeated home run in the Championship to seven games.
• If selected, defender Kieran Trippier will be making his 150th club career appearance.
Blackburn Rovers
• Three points will give Blackburn three victories in a row and their longest single-season winning league sequence since securing four on the bounce in October 2007.
• Gary Bowyer's side are the highest placed of eight still to win away from home in this Championship campaign.
• Nine of Blackburn's 10 league goals have been scored in the last two games (5-2 home to Barnsley and 4-1, home to Bolton); four of which were netted by last season's 28-goal top scorer Jordan Rhodes.

Say it how it is......
It wasn't the best display ever. There was no real passion, no real urgency to beat them.

Re: Dingles V ROVERS
Unlikely.....no passion,we have a chance to build a head of steam and push for promotion but as has been previously said on this Forum there is no one save Dunny (who was injured) who gives a rats chuff about the history of the match and rivalry, yes the average age of the squad was low (22 I think) but for the love of Pete man up and get the win!!! the only player who looked the part was Josh King and if we continue on in the same way then all it will serve to do is put him in the shop window leading inevitably to him and Katie leaving for stupidly low fees in January!!!! Sickening
