Actually, no, he hasn't. I don't like Irish whiskey and much prefer to drink Scotch, it's not even an anti-Oirish thing, I just prefer the taste of Scotch, especially the Islay malts, I do like a bit of peat in my whisky.

(you'll note the absence of an 'e' for scotch whisky, which is deliberate)
